We’re excited to elaborate on the incredible lineup of coaches who will be running the KBF Bruins Fall Baseball Camp. This group brings a wealth of professional playing and coaching experience that will give our players an unforgettable learning experience.

 

Here’s a look at who will be working with the boys:

 

Tim Kubinski – Former MLB Pitcher & KBF Bruins Founder

Tim pitched professionally with the Oakland Athletics and has built the KBF Bruins program around the same principles of player development, accountability, and love for the game that carried him through his career.

 

Dean Treanor – Former MLB Bench Coach

Dean brings decades of professional experience, having served as a Miami Marlin's Major League bullpen coach and longtime manager in the minor leagues. His expertise in player development and game management has impacted countless athletes now playing professionally.

 

Lance Marks – 3rd Round Draft Pick, Atlanta Braves

Lance was selected in the 3rd round by the Atlanta Braves and played professionally within the organization. His firsthand experience with the grind of pro ball gives players valuable insight into what it takes to reach the next level.

 

Cooper Benson – Arizona State & Toronto Blue Jays Draft Pick

A standout left-handed pitcher at Arizona State, Cooper was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays and continues to develop as one of the most promising young arms in professional baseball. 

 

Ben Newton – AAA Catcher and infileder, Oakland Athletics

Ben is currently in AAA with the Oakland A’s organization. His perspective from behind the plate gives players a deeper understanding of hitting approach, game strategy, and the catcher–pitcher relationship.

 

Craig Conklin – Oakland Athletics Coach

Craig is part of the Oakland A’s player development staff and brings extensive experience in both hitting and defensive instruction. His focus on fundamentals and game IQ helps players build confidence in all areas of their game.

Brooks Lee – Minnesota Twins

Brooks was a first-round draft pick and now plays in the Minnesota Twins organization. His journey from local standout to professional ballplayer is an inspiring example for every athlete attending camp.

 

This camp is for players ages 7 - 15 of all skill levels. We look forward to sharing our decades of experience and expertise with your player. There are many people around who will tell you that you need to do (x,y,z) to get your player ahead. Our goals is for you to hear from people who have achieved the highest levels of success about what it really takes, and as always, help instill a life long love of the game. 

After each day of camp we will take time to reflect on what they learned and have questions and answer sessions with our coaches. 

 

Fun fact: Tim, Dean, Brooks, and Cooper are all San Luis Obispo natives. 

 

KBF Bruins is donating 5% off profits to Five Cities Youth Baseball to show our support of rec sports. 

 

If you're unable to make both days, you may choose to attend one day of camp for $100. 

Bring all baseball equipment, water, and a snack.
